Kline is the owner/operator of a family cattle, feedlot, and crop operation.

Kline currently serves as vice president of the Kane County Farm Bureau. He previously served as a board member on the Mt. Carmel Irrigation Company. Kline received his Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business from Southern Utah University. He and his family live in Mt. Carmel, Utah.
